At Dusty Treasures, we specialize in vintage and antique goods. Due to the age, uniqueness, and one-of-a-kind nature of our items, all sales are considered final except in limited circumstances outlined below. Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Change of Mind / Buyer’s Remorse

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Change of mind
  • Accidental purchases
  • Failure to read item descriptions

All items are listed with detailed descriptions and photos to accurately represent their condition at the time of sale. We encourage buyers to review listings carefully and contact us with questions before purchasing.

2. Exchanges

Exchanges are not offered.

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of vintage and antique items, identical replacements are not available. All items are sold as described and photographed.

3. Damaged Items (Arrived Broken)

If your item arrives damaged:

Please include clear photos of:

  • The damaged item
  • The inner packaging
  • The shipping box

This documentation is required to process insurance claims and refunds.

Resolution

Once approved, we will offer:

  • A refund, or
  • A replacement, if available

4. Lost or Never Arrived Items

If your order is marked delivered but not received, or appears lost in transit:

  • Contact us within 7 days of the delivery confirmation or expected delivery date
  • We will investigate with the carrier

If confirmed lost, we will issue a refund or replacement.

5. Wrong Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos of the item received

Once verified, we will provide a return label and issue a refund upon return.

6. Return Authorization & Shipping (Approved Returns Only)

If a return is approved:

  • You must ship the item back within 7 days of return approval
  • Dusty Treasures will provide and cover the cost of the return shipping label
  • The item must be returned in the same condition it was received 

7. Return Window Enforcement

Approved returns must be shipped within the 7-day return window.

Failure to do so will result in:

  • The return shipping label being voided
  • The buyer keeping the item
  • The refund being forfeited

No exceptions are made once the return window expires.

8. Refund Method

All approved refunds are:

  • Processed through Shopify
  • Returned to the original payment method used at checkout

We cannot issue refunds to alternate cards, accounts, or payment methods.

9. Refund Timeline

After the refund is processed through Shopify:

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your account
  • Processing times vary by bank or card issuer and are outside of our control

10. Final Sale Items

All items not affected by:

  • Shipping damage
  • Shipping loss
  • Seller error

are considered final sale.

Normal wear consistent with age — including light patina, minor imperfections, or manufacturing variations — does not qualify for a return if disclosed in the listing.

By placing an order with Dusty Treasures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return & Refund Policy in full.
